Introduction
Hesto is looking for a candidate to lead the optimization of pre-assembly and assembly processes.
Job description

Develop and implement robust process control plans for manufacturing operations, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
Analyse current processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve cycle times, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Manage, sourcing, manufacture and maintain production processes as per project requirements, timing, and customer specification to meet production volumes and targeted efficiencies
Establish standard times for pre-assembly and assembly operations using time study techniques, such as GUM (Global Universal Measure) or other industry-accepted methodologies.
Implement Operator Performance Rating (OPR) systems to measure and monitor operator performance against set standards.
Conduct efficiency studies, including yamazumi (process levelling) initiatives, to balance workloads, eliminate waste, and optimize resource utilization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, manufacturing, quality, and maintenance, to address process-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct root cause analysis and provide effective solutions for process-related defects, quality issues, or production challenges.
Design and oversee the implementation of process automation and optimization projects to enhance productivity and quality.
Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for pre-assembly and assembly operations.
Provide technical guidance and training to production teams on process best practices, quality standards, and adherence to established procedures.
Monitor and analyse process performance metrics, including OPR, efficiency, and cycle time data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and process capability for new product introductions (NPIs) and design changes.
Participate in process capability studies, process validations, and process audits to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in process engineering methodologies.
Develop optimum layouts of the plant
Compile Costings for RFQ
Develop Control Plans and FMEA analysis
Develop, Introduce and Optimize material flow in the plant (MIFD)
Tool Up and Introduce new product lines into the plant
Introduce Material Flow processes into the plant to support Production Lines
Develop and manage efficiency and OPR improvement plans from the Engineering perspective
Ensure that Introduced Processes comply with Safety and Environmental standards
Optimize Costs and expenses
