Project Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of manufacturing projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure project profitability.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Financial Reporting: Generate and present financial reports to management, highlighting key financial metrics and project performance.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial management and reporting efficiency.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce or Cost & Management Accounting (Essential)
CA (SA) or CIMA certification (Essential)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance and manufacturing, preferably in the Automotive industry.
Sound knowledge of Budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
Computer literacy (MS Office)
Risk management and governance knowledge
IT literate, excellent MS Excel knowledge, familiarity with any ERP system and any integrated business analysis tool is a strong plus(SAP / BI)
