Introduction
Hesto is looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate to join Finance team. A successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of manufacturing projects. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations, preparation of business cases as well as the monthly monitoring of all financial aspects related to the active manufacturing projects.
Job description

Project Financial Management: 

·           Oversee the financial aspects of manufacturing and engineering projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Cost Analysis: 

·           Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure project profitability.

Budgeting and Forecasting: 

·           Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

Financial Reporting: 

·           Generate and present financial reports to management, highlighting key financial metrics and project performance.

Compliance: 

·           Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.

Collaboration: 

·           Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.

Audit Support: 

·           Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations.

Process Improvement: 

·           Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial management and reporting efficiency.

AIS, APDP and other incentives:

·           Preparation, follow up and management of all AIS and APDP related claims, submissions and follow ups.

·           This includes liaison with suppliers and governmental departments for the successful conclusion of claims.

 

Minimum requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

·         CA(SA) or CIMA certification is advantageous.

·         Minimum 5 years of relevant Finance and manufacturing experience, preferably in the automotive industry
