Job description
· Ensuring assembly lines are covered by absent pool or support in liaison with PCD
· People and Production management in line with standardised policies & procedures
· Ensure that Reports and Stats are kept updated & met timeously
· Maintain the 3-day stock holding policy by producing strictly to the daily schedule
· Achieve the set target objectives in line with the budgeted plans
· Take countermeasures against defects and carry out improvements when any product defect occurs.
· Management absenteeism in line with the code of conduct & random file checks
· Knowledge and experience of problem solving and defect analysis
· Knowledge and understanding in lean principles and production processes.
Minimum requirements
· Matric/NQF Level 4 (Essential)
· NQF Level 5/ Diploma/ Degree in Operations/ Production Management or relevant M 3 qualifications (Essential)
· NQF Level 5 in Leadership Development Programme (Advantageous)
· Computer – Microsoft Office (Advantageous)
· 3-5 Years’ experience in similar position (Essential)
· 4-5 Years’ experience in Harness Manufacturing (Essential)
· Person who can understand and practice ISO/TS16949 and IS014001
