Hesto Harnesses is looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate to join Quality department.
Job description
- In support of maintaining A-ranking performance at the customer.
- Develop/ implement a skills development plan with defined target dates for the process auditors, quality technician and team leader.
- Ensuring overtime levels are less than 6% budget.
- Control and monitor internal and external management system to eliminate product and process defects.
- Implement/ Conduct monthly feedback sessions to Quality and Productions in meeting forum.
- To perform general management functions to ensure smooth running of the department and PPAP.
- To maximize personal development plan/ Career plan.
- Adherence to all company/ department procedures
- To perform and assist with new Project approval and maintenance.
Minimum requirements
- Matric/NQF Level 4 (Essential)
- Diploma Quality Engineering /Total Quality Management NQF Level 6. (Essential)
- National Diploma /B-Tech. Project & B-Tech Quality Management. (Essential)
- 5 years Quality experience (Essential)
- Full understanding of PPAP activities (Essential)
- 5 years’ experience in a supervisory / Leadership position (Essential)
- 5 years working experience in the use of Quality Core tools (i.e.SPC, MSA, FMEA, PCP, R&R) (Essential)
- Proven track record of good attendance (Essential)
