Job description
· Design jig board layouts from customer drawings.
· Work with process engineers to create/update plant layouts
· Create detailed, accurate mechanical design drawings and be able to make improvement to existing designs.
· Analyse/Compare customer drawings to indicate point of change
. Support CAD engineering activities to deliver with Quality
· Effectively Communicate with direct and indirect management
· Ensure Customer objectives are met
· Ensure IATF 16949 are met
Minimum requirements
· Matric/NQF L4 (Essential)
· Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering (Essential)
· Experience with CAD software (Essential)
· Experience in Automotive Product/Process Development (Advantageous)
· Ability to read and understand Automotive wiring drawings (Advantageous)
