Job description
· To ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.
· Planning & prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
· Plan, production tasks, manpower & schedules according to customer requirements.
· Determine production target by line/machine/area based on capacity thereof.
· Analyse back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to create production plan.
· Develop, review & monitor production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timeously.
· Provide possible solutions for Production problems relating to scheduling & manpower.
· Coordinate with Production Management in planning and implementing engineering changes in production lines.
· Plan inventory management processes to avoid SSN’s and obsolescence.
· Maintain reports for production planning activities and sequences.
· Co-Ordinate Build-Out activities with Build-Out Controller.
Ensure workplace is safe and housekeeping is always maintainedMinimum requirements
· Grade 12/NQF Level 4 (Essential)
· National Diploma in Production Management (Essential)
· 3 to 5 years’ experience in manufacturing and an understanding of production processes (Essential)
· 2 years’ experience in a wire harness environment (Essential)
· Computer literacy Ms Office skills (Essential)
