Job description
· To perform general quality duties to ensure smooth running of the department and Hesto’s performance at the customer.
· Reporting and sharing of daily Hesto performance at customer,
· Ensure fast and immediate response to reported customer complaints/ concerns,
· Leading and/or supporting technicians and the customer,
· Training both team and broader organizational members,
· Ensure processes and procedures are being followed effectively in production to reduce on defects occurring in process and at TSAM.
· Adherence to all company/ departmental procedures,
· Support production in quality related to continually improve operations processes at Hesto as well as the customer through projects, experimentation, designs, and process enhancements.
· To proactively collaborate with Hesto and the customer to ensure that written specifications and designs meet business needs and best practices.
Minimum requirements
· Grade 12 (Essential)
· National Diploma in Quality Engineering/ Total Quality Management (Essential)
· 3 years of Quality, Process Engineering and Resident Technician experience (Essential)
· 5 years of harness manufacturing experience (Essential)
· 5 years’ working experience in the use of Quality Core tools (i.e. SPC, MSA, FMEA, PCP, P&R) (Desirable)
· Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (Essential)
