Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely release of BOMs to support production and supply chain operations.
Manage the design release process, including design reviews, approvals, and release of product documentation to process Engineering and manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality, to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements.
Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept ideation and design to prototyping, testing, and production readiness.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements throughout the product development process.
Manage new product introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and seamless transition to production.
Evaluate emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement and innovation in wiring harness design and production.
Analyse product performance data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for product enhancements and improvements.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key automotive OEM customers, suppliers, and industry partners to facilitate collaborative product development efforts.
Develop and manage product engineering budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control measures.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the product engineering team.
