Introduction

The Programmer reports to the IT Manager: Business Systems & Automation. This position is responsible for facilitating communication between all stakeholders for a required process, procedure, or strategy and following up with all required documentation, including but not limited to, business requirements, technical and functional specifications, user acceptance testing. The Programmer is also responsible for programming, testing, and monitoring final solution hardware or software and facilitating training requirements with the training department.

Job description

· Effective analytical skills to involve relevant stakeholders and drive positive project outcome.

· Follow SDLC to meet business requirements.

· Subjective opinion on BA skill and accomplishments from stakeholders (stakeholders’ feedback).

· Facilitating communication between all stakeholders for a required process, procedure, or strategy.

· Monitoring final solution hardware or software and training requirements.

Minimum requirements

· Grade 12 (Essential)

· IT certification or degree (Essential)

· Project management certification (Advantageous)

· Programming qualification (Essential)

· 5 Years IT experience in a manufacturing environment

· Managing full SDLC cycle

· 5 Years programming experience
