Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from active sourcing to final hiring.
- Partner with stakeholders to define role requirement success outcomes and assessment approach.
- Implement a variety of strategic tools for sourcing and selection of the best candidates for the business in line with relevant timeframes
- Implement an effective onboarding process to build engagement from newly appointed employees
HR Operational Excellence
- Lead and co-ordinate all HR Activities across the Plant, ensuring effective day-to-day HR Service delivery.
- Manage headcount, vacancies and labour utilisation of all recruitment processes in collaboration with the business.
- Use data driven insights to Identify trends, pain points, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities in service delivery through using metrics, data to identify themes, risks and improvement opportunities
- Build collaborative relationships with Operational Management for the Plant
- Governance and Compliance (Employment Equity, BBBEE, ESG)
- Manage Employment Equity, BBBEE and ESG.
- Track performance against targets.
HR Policies & Procedures
- Review and Implement HR policies.
- Provide guidance to managers on policy interpretation.
- Participate in policy review and updates and procedure development.
HR Projects
- Lead and Implement HR-related projects and initiatives that support the business objectives
- Coordinate various functions including Long Service Awards, Family Day and recognition events.
- Manage Employee Wellness and EAP programmes.
HR Reporting
- Prepare monthly HR dashboards including absenteeism, turnover, recruitment and HR KPIs.
- Compile reports including ESG, BBBEE and Group reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and insight-driven reporting e.g headcount reports
- HR Administration
- Oversee the management of
- personnel files, HRIS data and HR documentation accuracy.
- Oversee benefits administration (medical aid, pension, provident fund).
Employee Wellbeing
- Work with the Clinic to support employee wellbeing.
- Support culture-building and engagement initiatives.
Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop a team of people.
- Build and/or encourage a motivated, engaged and inclusive environment where individuals feel motivated and empowered.
- Take full responsibility for performance management of all direct reports, focusing on all aspects of sound people management:
- Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion and service excellence
Minimum requirements
· A Degree in Human Resources or related field (Essential).
· Relevant Honours qualification (Desirable).
· Minimum 6- 8 years HR experience with strong HR operations experience.
· At least 4 -5 years Management experience
· Solid experience in HR operations.
· Project management exposure (advantageous).
· Experience in manufacturing, Automotive or FMCG environment (highly advantageous).
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
· Sound knowledge of HR legislation including LRA, BCEA, EE Act.
· Knowledge of Recruitment & Selection best practices.
· EE and BBBEE knowledge and reporting.
