Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Process Optimization and improvement:  Analyse production workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.  Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.

 

·         Team Management and development:   Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of skilled process engineers.  Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and support continuous professional development.

 

·         Quality Assurance and compliance:  Collaborate with the Quality department to maintain compliance with IATF 16949 and other standards.  Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions

 

·         Cost Control and Efficiency:  Manage engineering project budgets in collaboration with Finance.  Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality.

 

·         Stakeholder communication and Reporting:  Align with Product Development, Quality, and Production teams to achieve process goals.  Report on engineering project status and process performance to senior management.

 

·         Project Management:  Plan and manage engineering project scopes, timelines, and resources.  Track project progress, manage risks, and deliver results within budget.

Minimum requirements

·         B. Tech in Industrial Engineering/BSC Engineering (Essential)

·         Honours in Industrial Engineering (Desirable)

·         Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) (Essential)

·         8 Years of Experience in process engineering with Automotive manufacturing industry. (Essential)

·         3-4 in a managerial or supervisory role. (Essential)

·         Knowledge of FMEA, SOW, SOP, CAR, DoEs, RCS. (Essential)

·         Knowledge in CAD, ERP systems, and process simulation tools

·         Six Sigma (Desirable)

·         Proven track record in implementing successful process, improvement initiatives
