Job description

Process Optimization and Improvement

       Analyse production workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.

       Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.

       Standardize critical processes and drive automation and digital transformation.

Team Management and Development

       Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of skilled process engineers.

       Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and support continuous professional development.

       Foster a high-performance culture of innovation and improvement.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

       Collaborate with the Quality department to maintain compliance with IATF 16949 and other standards.

       Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.

       Ensure documentation and traceability of all process changes.

Cost Control and Efficiency

       Manage engineering project budgets in collaboration with Finance.

       Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality.

       Monitor and act on key process KPIs to drive efficiency.

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting

       Align with Product Development, Quality, and Production teams to achieve process goals.

       Report on engineering project status and process performance to senior management.

       Represent the engineering function in cross-functional initiatives and strategic planning.

Minimum requirements

Education:

       Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (required)

       Master’s degree in engineering or business administration (advantageous)

Experience:

       Minimum 8 years in process engineering within automotive manufacturing (preferably harnesses)

       Proven experience in leading process improvement and cost optimization projects

       Deep knowledge of automotive harness production

       At least 3 years in managerial or supervisory role overseeing engineering teams.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

    Deep knowledge of automotive harness production

    Skilled in CAD, ERP systems, and process simulation tools

    Meticulous attention to detail and a deep commitment to quality
