We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Engineering department.
Job description

·         To manage the general performance of Junior Engineers in order to ensure smooth running of the department.

·         To ensure that production processes are in line with the Global Unit Measure

·         To conduct capacity studies in order to ensure capacity to meet customer demand.

·         To support in the development of new products/projects

·         To ensure optimum performance and machine utilization in order to increase productivity.

·         To conduct operational studies with the aim of improving challenges in line with the business plan

·         To map current operational process and propose best optimum process design.

·         Improve systems in order to improve efficiency.

·         To identify process deviation, threats, risks and opportunities through monitoring of operations

 

Minimum requirements

·         Matric / NQF L4 (Essential)

·         Industrial Engineering Diploma/Degree. (Essential)

·         BSC Engineering (Desirable)

·         B.Tech in Industrial Engineering ( Desirable)

·         2 years manufacturing experience (Essential)

·         2 years working experience in the use of Quality Core tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, CONTROL PLANS)

·         3 years Process Engineering experience (Essential)

·         Knowledge of quality systems within the industry (ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001 ISO 9001)

·         Process control knowledge (Essential)

·         Basic AutoCAD use, (Desirable)

·         Pneumatics technology – up to Basic PLC level

·         Basics of Six Sigma/TPS (or similar Lean Manufacturing principles)
