Position summary
Introduction
Job description
· Analyze and identify the technical training needs for the organisation in line with Hestos’ manufacturing standards,
· Coordinating product-related trainings, including presenting new features and simulating activities in a demo environment,
· Design and update training materials according to manufacturing standards,
· Communicate and Advise management on new and existing training trends,
· Drive the delivery of technical training to ensure improvements in quality and efficiency on the floor,
· Manage and ensure the competency of all Technical Trainers is maintained at the required levels,
· Manage the department’s budget,
· Sound knowledge of MERSETA dynamics (understanding how SETA works and reporting on DG Grant and MG Grant)
Minimum requirements
· B degree in Training and Development/ HRM/Mechanical Engineering
· Proven 3-5 years managerial experience in Training
· 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
· Solid understanding of manufacturing processes
· Strong knowledge of development and learning practices.
· Proficiency in learning management software.
· 5 Years proven track record of designing and implementing employee development programs.
