Costing of Current Models

·         Calculation of cost effect based of new and current models

·         Calculation of Selling Price of new and current models

·         Update GCT (Global Costing Tool) with latest factory cost

Calculation of cost implication of ECI/ECR changes

•         Calculation of cost effect based on engineering change data.

•         Analysis of change to Bill of Material.

Preparation of Annual Price Review

•         Preparation of customer pricing documents showing breakdown of selling price for all adjustments.

•         Calculation of annual pricing review and reporting changes in material costs, labour and overheads.

Calculation of Forex and Copper adjustments

•          Calculation of Forex rates based on various customer methodologies prior to receipt of rates from the customer.
•          Calculation of adjustment to the customer selling prices.

Cost Calculation for VA/VE

•         Cost evaluation of VA/VE ideas and presentation of this to management.

•         Cost evaluation of Localisation ideas and presentation of this to the localisation team.

Reporting

•         Monthly reporting of Custom Expectation plans to Management.

•         Weekly reporting of Hesto performance to TBU.

•         Update and visualise monthly absenteeism and expenditure reports.

Other departmental tasks

•         Raise requisitions on Syspro and the manual PR Book as requested and follow up till delivery.

•         Linking of parts to enable the invoicing process.

•         Raise consumable requests and ensure consumables are available.

·         Bachelor’s degree/BTech in Commerce or Cost & Management Accounting or

Supply Chain Management. (Essential)

·         Minimum 2 years’ experience in Costing planning in a manufacturing environment. (Essential)

·         2 years manufacturing/automotive industry experience in similar role. (Advantageous)

·         Knowledge of SYSPRO
