Job description
· Manage annual departmental budget and forecast
· Ensure accuracy of all costing is presented to EXCO/ Marketing committee and customer
· Monitor and ensure expenditure is within budget
· Communicate labour standards to Production Control Department
· Analyse and calculate selling price for new products, review cost of sales price list
· Establish labour standard for new projects/ Engineering Changes as required
· Manage cost impact of VA/VE proposals
· Present adjusted prices to customer
Minimum requirements
· Grade 12 (Essential)
· Bachelor’s degree/B Tech in Commerce or Cost & Management Accounting/Supply Chain Management (Essential).
· 5 years’ experience in Cost Planning in a manufacturing environment (Essential).
· 2 years’ manufacturing / automotive industry experience in a similar role (Advantageous)
· knowledge of financial markets, budgeting processes and management reporting processes.
· Computer Literate (MS Office) & Excel Advance
· Knowledge of cost accounting processes and capabilities related to financial modelling.
· Must be familiar with Syspro, GUM & GCT.
